Cruisin' With Blue Lake is an annual benefit ride that raises funds for Blue Lake Association projects and events. Riders and drivers of street-legal motorcycles, side-by-sides, ATVs, Jeeps, classic cars, and more are welcome to spend the day cruising together and connecting with the community at the Blue Lake Community Building. Participants can opt into a Poker Run for $10 per hand, with cash awards for the three best hands. A 50/50 drawing and special stops along the route add to the experience, and route details will be announced as the event approaches. A $20 donation per person is requested. All proceeds support Blue Lake Association community projects and events.

103.9 Wayne FM presents a high-energy celebration of Michael Jackson’s legacy with Invincible, a theatrical tribute designed to recapture the feeling of seeing the King of Pop live. The Musical Box unveils a new production honoring Phil Collins’s years at the helm of Genesis, covering 1976 through 1980. The set features favorites like Follow You Follow Me alongside selections from albums such as A Trick of the Tail, charting the journey of the drummer who became lead vocalist. Renowned for period-accurate staging, the show recreates the aesthetic of the 1978 Mirror Tour and carries Collins’s own endorsement for its authenticity. This is an all ages event with reserved seating, and tickets start at $39.

This free family event at Selman Timber Frame features games with prizes, face painting, and refreshments. Participants can decorate pumpkins and enjoy a scenic hayride around the park.

Wheel of Fortune LIVE brings the TV favorite to Fort Wayne in an interactive stage show for all ages. Audience members are randomly chosen to step onstage with the host, spin a replica of the famous wheel, solve word puzzles, and compete for prizes that can include trips to Paris or Hawaii and cash up to $10,000. Reserved seating is available, and tickets start at $20. Expect a high energy night where the excitement of the game fills the room and the crowd shares every big moment.

Teens ages 14 to 17 can spend a half day building practical car care and safety skills suited for new drivers. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants get hands-on practice with changing a tire, checking tire pressure, changing engine oil, understanding dashboard buttons and levers, learning about sensors, and safely jump-starting a battery. Enrollment is limited to 12 participants. The $30 fee includes hands-on training, safety gear, a driver’s manual, and a certificate of completion. Registration is required. This workshop is presented in partnership by the National Automotive & Truck Museum and the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, which share a historic campus.

Pumpkin Fest fills The James Cultural Plaza in historic downtown Auburn with family friendly fall fun. A highlight is a live pumpkin carving demonstration by Food Network champion Shannon Gerasimchik, with 19 intricately carved pumpkins on display. Attendees can enjoy live music at the plaza and at the farmers market, sip complimentary hot cider from 9th Street Brewing Company, visit food trucks, browse an all things pumpkin vendor market, and explore the farmers market. Kids will find a dedicated area featuring a free pumpkin decorating contest available on a first come, first served basis, with prize groups for ages 2 to 5, 6 to 12, and 13 to 18. There is a corn pit and a cookie and cake walk that continues until the treats are gone. Costumes are encouraged, and candy will be available at the Auburn Main Street booth. Question, Persuade, and Refer Gatekeepers will share their experience on recognizing warning signs, starting a supportive dialogue, and linking people to local resources. A costume contest adds to the fun, with categories for young children up to age 6, kids 7 to 12, teens and adults 13 and older, themed groups or families, and the scariest or most creative looks. The contest takes place outside The Brokaw, and prizes will be awarded to the top three entries in each category.

An atmospheric evening inside the historic Marshall Clothing Manufacturing Company building sets the stage for a fundraiser benefiting the DeKalb County Historical Society.
