It focuses on fresh fruits and vegetables, provides multiple meat options when possible, and works to stock items that support allergen-sensitive, low sodium, keto, vegan, and gluten-free diets. Foods rescued from grocery stores help families prepare wholesome, healthy meals. Support extends beyond food. A dedicated hygiene aisle supplies essentials not covered by food assistance programs, including laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, shaving items, feminine care, bar soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper, paper towels, household cleaners, and related items.
