A minimum $5 donation per runner is suggested. The Teddy Bear Trot invites participants to bring a new stuffed teddy bear that will be provided to a local nonprofit to brighten a child’s holiday season. Parking and check-in take place at Walt Disney Elementary School. All participants must check in on arrival and will receive a safety light to wear for the entire run. Follow the marked traffic signs, which will feature flashing lights to help guide the route. The run will finish where it starts to allow a safe return to vehicles at a traffic light. Routes are available with options around 3.9 miles, 3.4 miles, and a super short route of about 1.4 miles. Turn-by-turn navigation can be used in real time, and a limited number of paper maps will be available at check-in, though they can be difficult to read once out on the course. Registration can be completed in advance with online donations, and onsite registration will be available via mobile device.
