First Tee Tuesdays

First Tee coaches host a kid-focused playing league at Studebaker Golf Course on Tuesdays and Fridays. Reserve a tee time by emailing or texting First Tee and share that you plan to participate. Coaches and friends will be on hand to play alongside the kids. Thanks to the Kids Play Free program at Studebaker, there is no cost for these sessions. A 2025 waiver must be on file in the golf shop, with forms available there or from First Tee. This is primarily on-course play with minimal instruction, so participants are encouraged to enroll in a class beforehand for skill development. Clubs, balls, and tees can be provided if needed.

Groups & Meetups

Atheists at The Well

A casual social gathering hosted by Northern Indiana Atheists takes place at The Well, a nonprofit coffeehouse in the heart of the River Park neighborhood. Guests can enjoy locally roasted Direct Trade coffee and specialty teas at reasonable prices, and bringing a takeout dinner is welcome. The Well gives back to the area by supporting organizations that work for positive change in the neighborhood, the city, and the region.

Outdoor Zumba at Seitz

Move to lively Latin rhythms during an outdoor Zumba workout led by the high energy instructor, Carlitos. The class takes place under the Seitz Bandshell, weather permitting, and offers a spirited, full-body cardio experience. Bring water and wear breathable clothing for comfort. A concession stand will be open for drinks and snacks. If weather disrupts the session, watch for email updates from Carlitos. Seitz Park remains open during nearby construction, though access may be a bit more challenging. A map will be sent to participants to help with navigation. Limited free street parking is available nearby, and walking into the park is often the simplest option.
