The story follows two friends who head to war and the woman connected to them, set against aerial battle sequences that became famous for their realism and innovation. Directed by William A. Wellman and led by Clara Bow with Richard Arlen and Charles “Buddy” Rogers, it also includes a notable cameo by Gary Cooper. The film made history as the first Academy Award winner for Best Picture and also received the early honor for Engineering Effects at the inaugural Oscars. Tickets start at $8, with no added fees for advance purchases, and prices increase on the day of the show. Seating options include general admission and tables in VIP or near the stage when available. The auditorium accommodates 182 guests, with 130 standard seats, 52 spots at 14 tables, and four wheelchair locations. The theater offers a full bar with beer, spirits, and specialty drinks, along with soft drinks, popcorn, and snacks. Guests may bring in food from nearby restaurants, but outside beverages are not allowed. Parking is available behind the theater, along the street, and across the street. Food trucks are often parked by Transport Brewery, and selections may vary.

The evening opens with check-in, open floor practice, and guided warm-ups, then moves into three skill-based classes covering Levels 1 through 3 led by Jesse and a rotating lineup of Kansas City instructors. After class, the floor turns into a social dance party so you can practice new moves and connect with the community. All experience levels are welcome, from first-time dancers to seasoned regulars. Admission is $20.
