Postpartum care is included, with guidance on infant feeding techniques and troubleshooting, along with information about postpartum mood disorders. Quincy is a full spectrum doula, childbirth educator, infant feeding specialist, homebirth midwifery assistant, and student midwife with more than five years of experience and participation in over one hundred births in a variety of settings. This class is recommended for those between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy. The fee is $75 and covers one pregnant attendee and a single support person. Bailey Training and Support presents a community Safe Sitter Essentials with CPR course at Blue Springs Fieldhouse at the Carson Ross Community Recreation Complex. This instructor-led program runs about six and a half hours and is intended for students in grades 6 through 9. Through interactive games and role-playing, participants learn how to stay safe when home alone, care for younger children, and prepare for babysitting.
