    Opening Night

236 Glenn Frick Farm Rd, Shepherdsville · verified Aug 30
    See details

Opening Night of Veil of Darkness centers on the sinister legacy of Camp Cedar Lakes. Long before the camp stood, something was laid to rest beneath its grounds. Decades ago, a contamination disaster poisoned the water and transformed the area, warping the forest, provoking the wildlife, and changing the most heavily exposed into something not quite human. Officials said everyone made it out, but counselors who stayed to look for missing campers never returned. The property was condemned and declared empty, yet that claim conceals more than it reveals. Attendees will pass past caution markers into shadowed paths, derelict cabins, and tainted areas, moving through territory still watched by entities that continue to guard the grounds they once defended. As sirens echo across the camp, the buried truth of Cedar Lakes breaks the surface.
