The schedule is being finalized, with plans that may include lunch cookouts on the airfield, breakfast at the resort, and a spot landing competition with prizes. Pilots can plan on practical conveniences. Camping is permitted at the airfield, and the airport offers full amenities. The resort also has camping and cottages available on a first come, first served basis, and reservations should be made directly with the park. The paved runway is 4,000 feet long, fuel is available on the field, and the airport sits about a mile from the resort with transportation available for those who prefer not to walk. Bring your own tie downs or rope. For navigation, Kentucky Dam State Park Airport, identifier M34, is about 30 miles east of the Cunningham VOR on the 90 degree radial and roughly 8 miles south of V178.
