Loaves of Love, led by MOD Squad Teen Outreach Ministry, centers on serving the community in a faith-based setting. The organizers ask that anyone running for office who chooses to volunteer observe a few courtesies to keep the focus on service. Keep phones in vehicles and do not use the event for campaign photos or videos. Arrive before serving begins and plan to work for the entire period. Participate as a neighbor rather than as a candidate, and lend a hand out of genuine care rather than visibility. This is ministry, not a campaign platform, with an emphasis on humble service.

Celebrate and support Kentucky’s 93,000 nurses with a community 5K that benefits the Kentucky Nurses Association. This fun run and walk promotes health, wellness, and community connection while highlighting the vital role nurses play across the Commonwealth. The course at Freeman Lake Park features scenic water views and is welcoming to all fitness levels, whether walking or running. Registration options include early bird and standard rates, a virtual participation choice, and a team discount for groups of four or more. Early bird registration is $35, then $40 afterward. The virtual option is $45 at the early rate and $50 later. Teams of four or more receive a $5 discount per member. Registered participants who complete sign-up by the stated deadline receive a T-shirt and medal, with extra shirts available while supplies last. Children 10 and under may participate with a registered adult, and only those with paid registrations receive a T-shirt and medal. Race packet pickup and on-site registration are available before the start.

Shop a wide selection from more than 40 vendors at a vendor and craft show at North Hardin High School, supporting North Hardin Project Graduation. Admission is free for shoppers, and there will be food trucks and a concession stand available. Food trucks are welcome to participate.
