A debut performance at The Hangout Sports Pub in Youngsville brings a throwback to 90s and 2000s rock. The set spans hits from No Doubt, Nirvana, Sublime, Deftones, Green Day, Korn, Stone Temple Pilots, Limp Bizkit and more, echoing the era of flannel, frosted tips, and car stereo anthems. The venue serves pub fare and cold drinks before the music begins.

Bayou Vermilion District and Vermilionville present the weekly Bal du Dimanche, a live music dance held in Vermilionville’s Performance Center and rustic dance hall. This edition features Jean Bertrand & the Pine Island Aces. Admission is $12 and includes a self-guided visit to Vermilionville’s Living History Museum. Vermilionville’s restaurant, La Cuisine de Maman, serves authentic Cajun and Creole fare and offers an all-you-can-eat buffet on Sundays. The program is broadcast live on KRVS Public Media.
