Eligibility is limited to Louisiana residents who have lived in the state for at least 90 days before the event, are amateurs under USGA and The R&A definitions, and hold membership in good standing with an LGA Member Club for the year. Non‑amateurs are not eligible, and entries may be declined at any point, including during the event, for reasons such as unbecoming conduct. The team entry fee is $400 per pair and includes cart fees for a practice round and for tournament play. Refunds are available with written notice to the LGA before the entry deadline, and after that only in cases of injury or illness with a doctor’s statement, with a $70 service charge deducted from any refund. Pairings and starting times will be emailed to accepted teams. Practice privileges are offered to participants at The Wetlands, with the cart fee covered, and practice rounds should be scheduled through the golf shop. Competitors must be neatly attired, with no gym shorts, blue jeans, or tee shirts, and spikeless shoes are required throughout the facility. Each day concludes with lunch for all participants, and prizes will be presented during lunch on the final day, recognizing the overall champions as well as the winners of each flight. Play is conducted under the USGA Rules of Golf and the LGA Rules of Play Card, with the LGA Rules Committee serving as the final authority. At Parc Sans Souci in Lafayette, the Cajun Cup 10K and Farrel’s Mile raise funds for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Cross Country and Track teams. Participants can choose the 10K or Farrel’s Mile. The course will close after approximately two hours, and those needing additional time may be asked by race officials to continue on the sidewalk. Packet pick-up is available at Geaux Run and on-site at Parc Sans Souci prior to the race. Shirts are guaranteed only by the stated registration deadline. Swag is not mailed and must be picked up in person, and availability may be limited if packets are not collected. Tiered pricing applies to the 10K, and Farrel’s Mile is $25. No refunds will be given. Registering for all three Triple Crown races together qualifies participants for exclusive Cajun Road Runners swag. Those who initially registered individually can switch to the Triple Crown package by the noted deadline to guarantee swag, and later Triple Crown registrations may not include it. A shoe drive benefiting Lafayette Catholic Services invites donations of gently used running shoes, with collection boxes available at Geaux Run and at the race. Age groups are organized in five year increments beginning with 9 and under and extending to 70 plus, with additional groups added as needed. Awards include specially designed Cajun Cup mugs and cash prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers. Overall Masters 40 plus, Grand Masters 50 plus, and Senior Grand Masters 60 plus receive cash and a Cajun Cup mug. Age group winners earn a Cajun Cup mug, second and third place in age groups receive a medal, the top 50 male and top 50 female finishers receive a commemorative poster, and all 10K finishers receive a finisher’s medal.

The program traces the label’s evolution from friends recording in Savoy’s living room to a nationally respected imprint known for award-winning albums and for carrying the sound and soul of Acadiana to audiences around the world. Santa’s Big Red Ride returns as the Rotary Club of Youngsville teams up with the Youngsville Fire Department to bring Santa through neighborhoods across the community. Aboard a Youngsville Fire Department fire truck, Santa will share holiday cheer with families along the route. Residents can watch for Santa on their street and wave as the truck passes. The neighborhood route and schedule will be announced, so check for updates. This free event welcomes all Youngsville residents, with appreciation to the Youngsville Fire Department for making it happen.
