Live music in New Iberia, LA

From Troy, Alabama, Early James brings a voice that blends Southern soul with a touch of city grit. His songs travel from heartbreak to hard-won resolve, drawing on blues, folk, rock, and soul. His debut, Singing for My Supper, marked a striking introduction, and his new album, Medium Raw, goes deeper with raw feeling, vivid characters, and Southern gothic shades. The music shifts between spare, haunting vocals and charged rock blues, anchored by candid reflections on self doubt and resilience.
