Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu & Tai Chi presents a kids camp that blends active training with creative exploration. Designed for ages 5 to 12, the program builds strength, coordination, and confidence through focused kung fu practice, tai chi, tumbling, and energetic group games like tag and dodgeball. Campers also dive into hands-on projects and cultural experiences, including crafts, music, Chinese Lion Dance, cool science activities, paper folding, and Chinese calligraphy. Newcomers learn foundational techniques and forms, while returning students work on advancing their skills. Tumbling sessions progress from balance work such as headstands and handstands to rolls, cartwheels, and more advanced movements like headsprings, handsprings, and flips. All activities are taught by experienced adult instructors, with occasional support from responsible teen kung fu students. Half-day options are available, and earlier drop-off or later pick-up can be arranged for an additional fee.
