A weekly community market transforms Allegheny Avenue in downtown Towson into a hub for fresh, locally sourced goods and handcrafted items. Organized by the Towson Chamber of Commerce with the Towson Main Street Collaborative, it brings together farmers, food makers, and artisans offering organic fruits and vegetables, small batch specialties, and unique creations. Visitors can explore the stalls, stock up on quality ingredients, discover thoughtful gifts, and support the independent businesses that keep the community thriving.

Pick up a free box of produce, a bag of groceries, a gallon of milk, and a loaf of bread, available until supplies run out. Service is in order of arrival. To make sure everyone in line receives food, the limit is one of each item per vehicle. Please share this information with anyone who could use it.

A new parent support hour in Towson offers a welcoming, judgment-free space to connect over milk and cookies. It is free and open to the community, and drop-ins are welcome, though registering in advance helps estimate attendance. Facilitated by Lindsey Storch, IBCLC, the conversation focuses on everyday realities of infant care, including feeding, diapering, sleep, building support networks, and self-care, as well as the joys, frustrations, and feelings that come with early parenthood. Scales will be available for anyone interested in doing a weighted feed. This gathering takes place in person at the Rumina Center in Towson, with cookies served at each session.

At Andy Nelson's Southern Pit Barbecue, enjoy all you can eat ribs with free music. Other great food will also be available.
