    OLSC Aberdeen American Legion

Aberdeen · American Legion Bernard L. Tobin Post 128, 44 N Parke St

Head to American Legion Bernard L. Tobin Post 128 for a cornhole night with two divisions and a format that balances competition and fun. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome, and play takes place indoors. Group 1 is for upper level competitors with an SPR of 52 or higher. Everyone plays three games of Switch to establish seeding by PPR, then partners are set either as top with middle or random top with random bottom based on a visible die roll. All teams move into a double elimination bracket. Top finishers earn cash payouts that depend on turnout. Each player is guaranteed five games, and this division is capped at 40 participants. Group 2 offers a more relaxed, social experience for players with an SPR of 53.99 or less. It also begins with three Switch games, with seeding determined by wins and losses. Partnering follows the same die roll method as Group 1. Teams then compete in a double elimination bracket, with cash payouts for top placements based on the number of players. Everyone is guaranteed five games, and this division is capped at 24 participants. Please pre-register through the Scoreholio app by creating a free account, searching for OLSC, and registering yourself and your partner. Check in on site to pay and play, and follow live scoring in the app. The entry fee is $15 per person, cash only. Bring approved bags or use the available house bags. Seven sets of boards will be set up indoors. Outside food and beverages are not allowed. Food and drinks are available for purchase in support of the American Legion. Enter on the right side of the building through the iron gate. Play is indoors, so weather will not affect the event. For questions, contact Jim at 410-456-4962.
