Rolling Hills Ranch is presenting a series of five relaxed jumper competitions featuring courses designed by 5* rider Tara Ziegler. Entries are available by division at $45 or by individual class at $20, and late entries are accepted with an additional $10 per class or division. Competition begins with ground poles and progresses to the fence height each rider chooses. The arena measures 100 by 150 feet and is equipped with lighting if needed. Season-long recognition includes awards for high point riders in each division for those who take part in at least three shows, along with a trainer award for the coach who brings the most competitors. All fees are nonrefundable.

The curriculum explores epoxy and UV resin fundamentals, safety practices, tools and workspace setup, accurate measuring and mixing ratios, colorants including mica powders and alcohol inks, mixed media compatibility, finishing methods and effects, common mistakes with troubleshooting, and the different types of resin and their uses. The workshop spans two days with two hours per session and features artisan-led instruction. Participants complete two projects, a multi-step epoxy resin art piece and a UV resin creation, and receive a DIY resin starter kit to continue creating at home. Complimentary light snacks and beverages are provided. Those who want a fuller meal can order from the Granite Run Taproom menu and bar for delivery to the studio during the session. Typical speeds fall between roughly 25 and 70 mph in second gear, and the soft cones help protect vehicles while drivers explore limits. Participants can build confidence, learn effective seating and control positions, understand braking thresholds, and get a feel for how their car responds at everyday speeds. It is also a friendly social setting with plenty of adrenaline. All makes and models are welcome to pre-register. Entry fees are $60 for PCA members and $70 for non-members. A $5 Taste of Autocross option lets those curious about the sport ride along with instructors for multiple runs without pre-registering by checking in at the event trailer. Driver entries are capped at 80, later sign-ups are waitlisted, there are no walk-up driver entries, and online payment is required for pre-registration. The day follows a structured flow that includes check-in, tech inspection, course walks with a guided session, a drivers meeting, and timed runs. Non-Porsches use SCCA classing, while Porsches compete in Showroom Stock, Production, Improved, or Modified per Chesapeake PCA autocross guidelines. Sound is monitored under SCCA procedures, and cars must meet a 108 dBc limit.
