This support group provides a welcoming place for people in survivorship to share their stories, ease isolation and fear, and draw hope from others who understand. It is designed for those who have completed treatment and want to connect with peers in the area. Registration is encouraged, and walk-ins are welcome.

This weekly 90 minute restorative session invites you to release accumulated stress and return to a grounded, regulated state. The experience blends guided meditation, nervous system regulation tools, and enveloping sound to encourage deep rest and meaningful relief. Created with busy professionals, caregivers, and others in high responsibility roles in mind, it provides a consistent space to pause the constant doing and reconnect with balance, clarity, and ease. Each gathering features mindfulness and meditation guidance, breathwork to support regulation, gentle somatic awareness, and immersive sound healing with gongs, singing bowls, chimes, and therapeutic soundscapes. Time for rest and integration is included. No experience is required, and you may participate actively or simply settle in and receive. To support a contained, calming environment, plan to arrive a little early to get comfortable and note that doors close at the start. Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket, a pillow, and anything else that supports your comfort. This is a scent aware, phone free restorative space. The cost is $40 per session, with a limited number of reduced rate and scholarship options available. Advance registration is required, and capacity is limited to 12 participants per session.

This free, community-wide gathering welcomes people in recovery, supporters and loved ones, professionals in the field, and anyone who believes recovery is possible. Attendees can enjoy live music and entertainment, talks from recovery speakers, family friendly activities, booths from community resources and organizations, free burgers and hot dogs, and a cornhole tournament, with more to discover. The focus is on celebrating recovery, reducing stigma, and building connections to the support and resources that make recovery possible.

Celebrate the season at the Oktoberfest Family Harvest Festival at Benjamin’s Brewer. This free community gathering features local businesses offering complimentary games and activities for children. Browse a bustling craft and artisan market, watch a chainsaw artist carve live, and wander the Harvest Haus farmers market filled with Maine-grown flavors. Immerse in German traditions while enjoying tasty food, fresh beer, and live music, all designed for families and friends to enjoy together. Bring the kids and invite your crew to help start a new community tradition. Admission is free.

A community celebration highlights Bangor’s new Community Mural by acclaimed Maine artist Rachel Gloria Adams, created in collaboration with the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce. This large-scale piece transforms a prominent downtown wall into a colorful tribute to the city’s people, places, history, and culture. Patterns contributed by five Bangor-area artists are woven into the design, bringing multiple perspectives together in one vibrant work of public art. The gathering offers a chance to meet the artists, enjoy a beverage and a snack, see the completed mural up close, and snap photos. Drinks are donated by Orono Brewing Company. There is a suggested $5 contribution for entry, and drinks are available for a suggested $5 each, with proceeds supporting Bangor Beautiful and future community projects. Visitors can also learn about Bangor Beautiful, hear the story behind the mural, and discover ways to get involved in creating more public art and beautiful community spaces across Bangor. 40 FINGERS is an Italian quartet of guitarists known for inventive reinterpretations of well known rock and pop songs, along with film and TV soundtracks. Their performances have attracted millions of views on social media. Queen highlighted the group’s arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody on the band’s website. They have also collaborated in duets with Andrea Bocelli, U.S. singer Tory Kelly, and Andy Summers of The Police, partnering with Summers to revisit Bring on the Night.
