Live music in Lewiston, ME

New this year, the Gray Wild Blueberry Festival extends into the evening with live music from Girls Just Want to Have Fun, an 80s ladies tribute band. The performance is part of added evening hours and pairs with access to the festival’s food court, a climbing wall, activities for all ages, and whole wild blueberry pies available to purchase. This annual, family friendly celebration of all things wild blueberry features an expanded food court with 15 sweet and savory food trucks and tents, Wild Maine blueberry pie eating contests for kids and adults, dessert bake offs for adults and for youth or teens, and a spelling bee for students in grades 1 through 8. Visitors can browse Made in Maine offerings across 100 booths showcasing arts, crafts, authors, a farmers market, and community, school, and regional groups, with support from local sponsors and additional live music. Returning attractions include chain saw carvers, a master beekeeper, a caricature artist, and a henna artist. Families will also find a kids area with a climbing wall, bouncy houses, a dunk tank, sprinklers when the weather calls for it, a quarter mile fun run, face painting at the kids tent, and a toddler play area. Activities may change, and more may be added.

Grass Rug makes its first appearance on the deck at Hopper’s at Apple Valley Golf Course, delivering a full evening of classic rock. Enjoy outdoor music as the sun sets across the course and the lights come on, with cold drinks and food available from Hopper’s. This performance spotlights an up-and-coming local band sharing timeless rock favorites in a relaxed summer setting. Admission is free.

Every Friday night at Lost Valley, the Kona Big Wave Summer Concert Series brings concerts to kick off the weekend, with performances held outside whenever possible.

The Franco Center will come alive with 1980s favorites as The Totally Rad performs a set that refreshes the decade’s sound, mixing recognizable hits with quirky one hit wonders. The lineup features Doug Alford on vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, and keyboards, Kevin O’Reilly on vocals and bass, Krister Rollins on electric guitar, and Russ Murley on drums. A cash bar will be available. Tickets are $25 at the door.

Spend a memorable week at Southern Maine String Camp 2026 on Lake Cobbosseecontee, where violin, viola, cello, and bass players can deepen their skills in an encouraging, non-competitive setting. The schedule blends small-ensemble coaching and orchestra rehearsals with classic camp life, including daily activities, campfires, swimming, songs, and rustic cabins that capture the Maine summer vibe. The atmosphere supports friendship and fresh musical motivation, and the week concludes with a final concert that showcases what participants have accomplished. Open to young musicians ages 10 to 18.

The DE Experience brings a lively mix of classic rock, country, pop, and funk to the summer concert series at Norcross Point. Expect family-friendly favorites that invite singing and dancing. Attendees can bring a picnic and enjoy the music on shore, or take in the show from the water by anchoring a boat just offshore for a view by the lake.
