Intro to Mindfulness
Pause the noise of the day with a gentle introduction to mindfulness. This class invites you to slow your pace, steady your breath, and reconnect with the present, nurturing calm, clarity, and awareness. It is welcoming to first-time meditators and those returning to the basics. No prior experience is needed, and you can come just as you are. Hosted at Karma House Community Wellness Center, a 501(c)3. Suggested donations are $5, $10, or $15. A simple reset to breathe, settle, and arrive in the moment.

Squirrel Hollow Golf CourseWomen-Led Bike Ride
A women-led group ride welcomes anyone easing back into cycling or seeking a gentle, low impact way to get moving. Participants meet in the parking lot behind the bike shop, then head out together on the fully paved Linear Trail. Distances begin with just a few miles and gradually increase over the season based on the group’s comfort and interests. The emphasis is on building confidence, spending time outdoors, and connecting with others. A limited number of bikes may be available to borrow with advance request. Spend the week learning about common backyard birds and birds you might spot in nearby parks. This camp includes bird-themed art projects, with a focus on getting kids curious about the birds around them. The program runs in the mornings from Tuesday through Friday for ages 5 to 10.
