Marshall Moose 676 presents its annual car show paired with a Jam the Jeep school-supply drive. Every type of vehicle is welcome. There is no entry fee, and participants are encouraged to bring new school supplies to help fill the Jeep, with all donations benefiting Marshall Public Schools. Drivers are asked to pre-register their vehicles to secure a reserved parking spot. Open to active Moose members and qualified guests.

New Wave Festival: Music, Art & Mystics brings together a full day of music, art, and mystic experiences at Leila Arboretum. Expect DJs and live acts on the main stage, a Mystic Emporium with tarot, psychics, and crystals, an Artist Cove with live art and creative experiences, plus a Silent Disco. The festival also features 100+ vendors with art, clothing, handmade goods, and oddities, along with food and drink vendors. Gates open at 12:00 PM, and it runs rain or shine. Jam for the Cure - #19 brings a full day of music and activities to Dark Horse Brewing Company. The lineup features Riff-Raff, Megan Rae Band/Rae of Light, His Boy Elroy, Father Stone, and Chameleon, with the performance order subject to change. Beyond the music, enjoy a table-side magician, mini golf with family friendly prizes, T-shirt and other swag sales, a live auction and raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and more. There is no cover. Dark Horse and ROAK Brewing will be pouring, food will be available, and outside food or drinks are not permitted.

AutoMODIFIED is hosting a long-running community car show and cruise in downtown Battle Creek. Admission is free and everyone is welcome, including families and friends. Vehicle eligibility includes classics that are at least 25 years old, model year 2001 and earlier, plus customized modern vehicles. Vendors will be set up in Friendship Park. The Battle Creek City Police will partner with organizers throughout the event, and AutoMODIFIED is working with the City of Battle Creek and the Small Business Development Office. Please follow directions at barricades and be respectful to police and staff. A flyer and additional rules will be shared in advance.

Downtown Marshall will transform as shops become secret hideaways inspired by the area’s historic spaces. Hosted by the Marshall Retailers Association, this second annual pop-up tasting experience guides participants through ten locations in groups of 15 to 30, using assigned passwords and time slots for entry at each stop. Inside, attendees can expect cocktail tastings, hors d’oeuvres, casino games, photo opportunities, and a souvenir glass, all set to classic speakeasy ambiance. To stay with friends, include the other purchaser’s name during checkout. An email with the starting location and password will be sent one week beforehand. This fundraiser supports a not-for-profit and all ticket sales are final due to supplier commitments. Tickets may be given to someone else if plans change, and the organizer can update attendee details for event communications. Roaring 20s attire is encouraged.

Women’s Cyclical Wellness Yoga offers a nourishing practice that moves with the moon and centers the menstrual cycle and life transitions as pathways back to embodied wisdom. All women are welcome, including those who bleed monthly, are navigating hormonal changes, or are postmenopausal. No prior knowledge of cycles or physiology is required. Each session aligns with the current lunar phase and the inner seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter through therapeutic yoga, breathwork, and gentle reflection. The focus is on regulation, intuitive awareness, and trusting the body’s natural rhythms. Participants explore how moon phases relate to the menstrual cycle, the stages of menarche, the reproductive years, perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, and ways to honor rest, vitality, expression, and release equally. Practices are customized to meet each phase. This offering is donation based with suggested contributions of $5, $10, or $15. It is led by Teresa Biggs, RYT-500, an advanced yoga teacher, feminine embodiment guide, somatic trauma therapy certified practitioner, Reiki Master, and educator, as well as the host of the Your Cyclical Nature podcast and Womb & Woo Wisdom on Substack. She is currently completing doctoral studies in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine and preparing to open a clinical practice offering acupuncture, herbal therapies, and integrative women’s health care.
