Byron Township Recreation hosts a colorful four day Paint & Create camp with West MI Paint & Create designed for children ages 6 to 12. Food Truck Fridays returns for its 10th season, bringing a family friendly summer tradition to Grand Rapids with around 20 food trucks, an artisan village, a beer tent, and live music each week. New for 2026, public parking will be available on the grass next to the event space, adding more accessible and additional handicapped parking and more spots close by. Bicycle parking is set up at the southern entrance for those who prefer to ride. Pick up the Food Truck Fridays Almanac at the Creston Neighborhood Association office, Community Cat Crew in Grandville, Underground Cookie Club in Kentwood, or at the event for truck lineups, band schedules, and other details. Frequent Fridays Cards are back at the GR8 Food Trucks Tent.
