Most vaccines are supplied through federal and state programs at no cost for those who qualify, while others may have a fee. There is a $21 charge per dose, but no one is turned away for inability to pay. For adults, state-funded vaccine supply is limited to Carver County residents. A meet and greet with Safe Hands Rescue will take place at Pet Evolution in St. Louis Park, featuring adoptable puppies and adult dogs who are looking for their forever families. On the morning of the event, the rescue shares which pups will be in attendance on its Facebook and Instagram pages. To protect unvaccinated puppies, hand sanitizing is requested upon entry and between litters.
