Big Wood Brewery in Vadnais Heights hosts a friendly meet and greet with Safe Hands Rescue, featuring adoptable puppies and adult dogs eager to meet potential families. Visitors will be welcomed once foster caregivers are set up, so please allow them time to get ready before the event begins. To help protect young, unvaccinated pups, hand sanitizing is required upon entry and between visiting different litters. At The Freight House, the Jeff Gavin Band brings an energetic cover set filled with pop, rock, funk, country, and alternative favorites. The group has performed across the Twin Cities for roughly five years and has been featured at the Minnesota State Fair multiple years in a row. Fronted by vocalist Jeff Gavin, whose background includes Free & Easy Band and Six Appeal Vocal Band, the show blends creative arrangements, dynamic vocals, and solid musicianship to get the crowd moving.

Learn how to create live musical underscoring for improvised scenes at a collaborative jam that blends guidance with immediate practice. Designed for musicians interested in supporting improv in the moment, it focuses on real-time scene scoring and then putting those skills to work together. Musicians, improvisers, and newcomers are welcome. Participants can bring an instrument or take part without one. Open to the public and free. Hosted by Karyn Wilson and Paulie Hendrickson, inspired by Paulie Hendrickson's vision, at Showtime Studio and Coffee.

Warm up with a swing dance lesson to kick things off, then dance to live music by Mill City Six while DJ Terry Gardner keeps the floor moving during band breaks. The event is hosted at St. Mark’s Event Center.
