Whether you are just beginning or searching for a missing relative, you will receive guidance tailored to your questions and support in building your family tree. This no-cost, in-person gathering welcomes people with mild to moderate cognitive impairment and their caregivers. It provides a supportive setting for social connection and helps participants, families, and friends link with community services. Sessions are held twice each month. Celebrate the arts in Central Park with a free gathering built around Mixed Precipitation’s Pick-up Opera Volume 6, Tales of Hoffmann. No tickets or registration are required. The experience starts with hands-on creativity for all ages, including drawing guided by Kate Langlais and a wool felting activity led by Char Johnson. After the art-making, enjoy a live performance from Mixed Precipitation. Marking 18 years of inventive outdoor work, the company presents a bold, futuristic take on Jacques Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffmann. The poet Hoffmann searches for love and inspiration in a technology-dominated world, encountering ghosts, robots, magicians, and shape-shifting demons along the way. The music blends classical opera with the sounds of 1990s grunge and R&B, presented in the Pickup Truck Opera format, and welcomes audiences of all ages with plenty of surprises. This event is presented in collaboration with the Community Action Center and the City of Faribault, with support from the Charitable Gambling Advisory Board. Guests are encouraged to bring a canned food item to support the Community Action Center.

Enjoy casual Pokémon Trading Card Game open play in a friendly setting. Admission is free, and families can play matches, trade cards, or relax with fellow trainers. Participants who provide their Player ID from Pokemon.com will receive a League Play Pack.

Disney Lorcana League Play runs alongside Pokémon play. Lorcana entry is free. Play head to head or gather a pod for multiplayer. Each visit includes a randomly selected promo or pin from the Organized Play kit. The League is open to newcomers and returning players at any time. These games are suitable for kids and adults, and you can learn to play with friends.

Explore Heroscape at a free learn to play session. This customizable tabletop game lets you build battlefields from hexagon terrain tiles, field armies drawn from many eras and worlds, and battle for victory in the realm of Valhalla. Guidance is provided to help newcomers get started. All game materials are available, including terrain, dice, order markers, and armies, and participants may bring a personal army to use favorite figures.
