The week concludes with a visit from therapy llamas for a memorable finish.

College Kid Clinic gives college-bound students a practical way to put important safeguards in place. During the session, participants prepare healthcare and financial power of attorney documents that allow parents to act on their behalf in a medical or financial emergency. The focus is on clear legal protections that offer families peace of mind as students return to campus.

Beginners learn to use Tinkercad to design robot parts, then 3D print them and apply basic DC circuits to bring each build to life. Over the course of the week, every student completes two working robots, a sketchbot and a drive bot, while building creativity, problem solving, and foundational engineering skills. Activities use a laptop and mouse.

At Scenic Heights Elementary, an escape room themed engineering camp turns one classroom into a hub of problem solving. Participants take on imaginative missions, from outsmarting a hijacked plane scenario to navigating cave style challenges and cracking a locked playroom, all without leaving the room. Working in teams, they use hands-on design to build rockets made from straws, simple parachutes, catapults, and flashlights, and they program robots to follow clues and race the clock. The experience wraps up with groups trading and attempting one another's original rooms, filled with crafty traps, surprises, and mind-bending puzzles where creativity and engineering go hand in hand.
