Every attendee aged 12 and older must have a ticket, and a couples ticket allows two people to work together on one project.

Leashed, well behaved dogs are welcome and owners must clean up after them, though dogs are not allowed in the lower seating area or on the turf. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Water in coolers is allowed and coolers may be inspected. Overflow parking is available at Chandler Park, with additional parking across Highway 169 in the pedestrian tunnel lot. Please do not use the boat launch trailer stalls at Mississippi Point Park, and only park in designated spaces in the area to avoid tickets. Support for the 2026 series comes from Char Blu Riverside, Edward Jones, Lightbridge Academy, Luther Brookdale Toyota, and Champlin Park Youth Hockey Association. Performances continue if weather allows.

All ages and abilities are welcome, and both time trial and road bikes are permitted, so a dedicated TT bike is not required. This series uses online registration only with no on-site signups. Each race is $25 and requires pre-registration. Riders under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver, and anyone under 15 must be accompanied on course by another rider. Parking is available at Woodridge Church, and participants are asked to ride to the start and finish area. Please keep two bike lengths apart while waiting to start, do not draft, and pass others with as wide a berth as safely possible. The church bathrooms will not be available, so plan accordingly. Results and any weather-related cancellations will be posted on the Gear West Facebook page. The Second Annual Strut For Mutts 2026 in Minnesota is Rescue Network’s premier fundraising walk and run that brings together animal lovers, adopters, and advocates in support of its life-saving mission. In 2025 there were over 2,000 adoptions and over one million in vetting expenses, with expectations that 2026 numbers will be even higher. Every step helps provide medical care, shelter, and loving homes for animals in need, and the remainder of 2026 is anticipated to be the most impactful yet with more animals saved, more fosters recruited, and more lives changed. Dogs that are not aggressive toward people or other animals are welcome during the almost 3K event. They must be current on vaccines and leashed at all times, and retractable leashes are not allowed. Participants may walk in memory of a beloved pet or in celebration of an adopted companion, contributing to hope and healing with each stride. After registering, a fundraiser is automatically created with a default goal of 200 dollars that can be adjusted. During registration, participants are asked to agree to meet the fundraiser minimum, though there is no penalty if the goal is not met. Raising 200 dollars results in a race fee refund. Reaching 300 dollars includes the refund plus a free item from the merch stand, such as shirts, bags, stickers, a Shasta Stuffie, and more. A community-minded clothing swap welcomes everyone to exchange clean, gently used or new apparel and accessories at no cost. Bring items you no longer use and pick up new-to-you clothing, jewelry, shoes, and handbags. All sizes are accepted for men or masculine, women or feminine, and children. Intimate items like socks and panties are not accepted, and non-clothing goods such as toys, home items, or books are not part of this swap. Volunteers will display contributions on racks and tables for easy browsing, and attendees are asked to bring a bag for anything they take home. Resale is not permitted, the swap is intended for personal use only. The exchange takes place outdoors at a private residence in the backyard and driveway, and there is no bathroom access. Accessibility support can be arranged for attendees who are differently abled or disabled. No one will be turned away. Running with Horses is a nine month equine-guided journey that invites a small group to slow down, reconnect, and explore a deeper relationship with self through the presence of horses. Across monthly sessions, participants engage in horse facilitated experiences alongside reflection, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and community support to deepen self understanding and notice the patterns that influence daily life. No prior horse experience is needed, only curiosity, openness, and a willingness to show up. Participants cultivate greater awareness of body and emotions, learn to attune to themselves and others, practice vulnerability with healthy boundaries, develop grounding tools for everyday life, strengthen intuition and inner trust, and step more fully into an authentic sense of self. The journey aims to support a shift from feeling disconnected or overwhelmed toward more clarity, connection, grounding, and empowerment. Facilitation is led by Wendy DeCamp, equine coach and riding instructor, and Molly DePrekel, MA, LP, a licensed psychologist and somatic practitioner, integrating equine-guided work with clinical insight for meaningful, lasting growth.
