    Ben Cook-Felz Vinyl Release Show

MetroNOME Brewery, 385 Broadway St, St Paul · verified Oct 9
    See details

Longtime Twin Cities songwriter and pianist Ben Cook-Feltz marks two decades of making music with a special night at MetroNOME Brewing celebrating Ben There Done That, a limited-edition best-of on vinyl. The set will span his catalog, weaving in seldom-heard songs alongside new material and favorites, including his moody take on Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. Rather than a full band, he will perform primarily on solo piano and voice, with occasional cameos from friends Cole Mickelson, Andy Schuster, Peter Remiger and others. Fellow songwriter Matthew French will also play a short set. Known for sharp, observant lyrics and melodies that nod to classic 60s and 70s pop, Cook-Feltz has performed across Minnesota and the Midwest as a solo artist, with his band, and in support of regional peers like Mother Banjo, Haley E Rydell and Jaspar Lepak. His 2025 release Cook-Feltz Sings Son of Schmilsson drew praise from Adventures in Americana. French brings a heartfelt blend of Americana storytelling and rock energy, drawing on influences that include Tom Petty and David Ramirez, with his latest album Down The Line released in 2026. Expect stories, camaraderie and plenty of tuneful moments throughout this one-time celebration.
