After a countdown, teams open their boxes and get to work while a judge monitors progress and records finish times. When your puzzle is done, you can head out, or stay to work on another puzzle and enjoy a beer or two. Before the main contest, an optional casual puzzling happy hour offers practice puzzles to warm up. Competitors may eat and drink at the table, use box top holders and sorting trays, and bring extra lighting that does not require an outlet and does not interfere with others. Distracting or interfering with other teams is not allowed. Each team has its own normal-height table. The entry fee is $40 per team. There are no refunds, but puzzle pick-up can be arranged if you cannot attend. For questions, contact Sarah.
