Tending for a Cause
Beaver Island Brewing teams up with the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association for an evening of Tending for a Cause that raises funds for Grass Seeds Academy. Every tip, plus one dollar from each pour, supports the learning opportunities offered through the Grass Seeds Program. The music lineup features Thresheree and the Rosie Daze Band, followed by an open musician jam to keep the night going.
Paramount Center for the ArtsSummertime by George!
Summertime by George! features a night of rich, guitar-forward sounds with Michael Shynes & The Long Way Home as the headliner. The music begins with Kat Blue, joined by special guest Maggie Petron, delivering layered three-part vocals across country, rock, and bluegrass. Michael Shynes follows with a dynamic mix of country, Americana, and rock that has connected with audiences across the region. Alongside the performances, look for food, refreshments, and a festive atmosphere. This free, family-friendly concert series is presented by the Rotary Club of St. Cloud and showcases local and regional bands, vendors and artisans, and a kids zone. Support for this show comes from headliner sponsor Gilleland Chevrolet and opener sponsor Falcon National Bank.
Lake George, St Cloud, MNBlack Sheep meeting at the park!!
A casual potluck meet-up at the park brings dinner, conversation, and a meeting that kicks off in true Black Sheep fashion after the meal. If you are able, bring a side to share, such as pasta salad, egg salad, tuna, salad, chips, or something similar. Matt and Dan are taking care of the main course along with buns and all the fixings, and a grill will be available for items that need to be warmed. If your dish requires heat, arrive before grilling begins; otherwise, come in time for the shared meal. To help avoid duplicates, add a comment on the event post with what you plan to bring. And for anyone wondering... extra egg salad would be happily welcomed by Matt.
