Now in its 38th year, this Companion Walk for Animals embraces a Woofstock theme with a flower-power spirit to raise funds for animals. It takes place at Wilson Park on St. Cloud’s East Side and brings the community together in support of the cause.

At Lake George in Saint Cloud, community members gather for the Out of the Darkness Walk, a local event dedicated to suicide prevention and hope. The walk raises awareness, sends the message that help is available, and supports the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Funds raised help AFSP invest in new research, develop educational programs, advocate for public policy, and provide resources for those who have lost someone to suicide. Celebrate the Full Moon with a community drumming circle that connects rhythms with people across the globe. Attendees may bring their own drum or rattle, and a limited number of instruments will be available to share. A love gift is welcome. The circle is guided by Erin H. and Jane B. The plan is to gather outdoors, weather permitting. If it rains, the group will move to room 30.
