Columbia Pokemon League hosts a monthly Gym Leader Challenge tournament with free entry for all age divisions. The event uses a best of one Swiss structure and does not require decklists. Winners in each age group receive Series 8 prize packs. The GLC format is Singleton, Monotype, and Non Rule Box within Expanded. Build a 60 card deck using cards from Black & White through Phantasmal Flames, include only one copy of any card except basic Energy, choose a single Pokemon type for the whole deck, and exclude Rule Box cards such as EX, GX, V, Prism Star, Radiant, ex, and ACE SPEC.
