Mizzou Rocks Day Camp

Mizzou Rocks day camp offers youth entering grades 4 to 6 in the 26 to 27 school year a hands-on exploration of geologic time and invertebrate paleontology. Campers examine fossils and investigate geologic history through activities on the University of Missouri campus, along with a visit to Rock Bridge State Park. The cost is $50 per session and includes a T-shirt, materials, snacks, and the park visit. Lunch is provided, and participants should bring a water bottle. Since the content is the same each day, only one session is recommended. Scholarships are available.

New Mom Meet Up

Connect with other new moms during a relaxed walk at Bonnie View Nature Trail. The path is paved and the pace stays gentle, with breaks at benches whenever needed for diaper changes or feeding. Bring a stroller or baby carrier, plus water and any snacks you need. The host can hold your baby so you can enjoy a hands free stroll. Older siblings are welcome. Pregnant and postpartum moms at any stage are invited, and there are no prerequisites to attend. Flexibility is built in, so late arrivals and shorter loops are perfectly fine, and the group is happy to wait or circle back.
