Explore Mizzou’s South Farm, part of the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, at the CAFNR Showcase at South Farm. Visitors can connect with CAFNR faculty, staff, and students at hands-on booths around the farm and take part in activities that include tomato tasting, meeting baby animals with a foal parade, cockroach races, and more. Children 12 and under who complete a Showcase Passport receive a free pumpkin. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

Hosted at the YMCA of Callaway County, the Callaway County Disaster Preparedness Expo is a community event designed to help individuals and families get ready for emergencies. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. Visitors can learn how to prepare for severe weather, fires, and other hazards, connect with local first responders and emergency professionals, and explore interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and safety resources. Expect practical tips and tools that can be put to use right away, whether creating a new plan or strengthening an existing one. Downtown transforms for Annual Mid-Missouri PrideFest with a street fair throughout the North Village Arts District and live performances inside Rose Music Hall. The celebration includes an expanding Artisan Court with bingo, karaoke, open mic, and acoustic performances, plus the Orr Street Food Court. A Pride Parade moves along Broadway between 9th and 5th streets, rounding out a range of festivities across the district.

THB returns to Pierpont General Store. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends, family, and their boogie shoes.

The suggested attire invites creativity, from all black looks and club kid energy to disco eccentric, grunge inspired school style and rave ready outfits, plus a 90s indie aesthetic, warehouse ghost vibes, a nod to Courtney Love, a basement vampire edge and art school dropout chic. Clove cigarettes are welcome and smoking them is allowed.

Hexagon Alley presents a weekly Lorcana play session focused on Standard format matches. The entry fee is $5.

Learn essential kitchen fundamentals in a beginner-focused cooking class for adults. Enrollment is limited to eight participants and is restricted to ages 18 and up. The session covers knife skills and the sauté method with step-by-step, hands-on instruction. Everyone will prepare a customized stir-fry with a choice of vegetables or chicken, followed by fruit kebabs drizzled with chocolate. The price is $65 per person with no additional fees, and it includes all recipes plus an apron to wear during class and take home. Space is first come, first served.
