The visit typically takes about an hour and fifteen minutes, while the actual draw of a pint of whole blood usually lasts eight to ten minutes, and times can vary based on health history and how busy the drive is. Whole blood and double red cell donations will be accepted. Donors may also request that their donation be directed to a specific patient. To prepare, drink extra fluids, eat beforehand, and bring a valid photo ID.
