Trail runners take on the DeClue Loops Trail Races at Greensfelder County Park, featuring an approximately 8.2-mile loop completed counterclockwise from the yellow gate near the DeClue Trailhead. Choose from four distances, including one loop at about 8 miles, two loops at 16 miles, a full marathon, and a 50k made up of four loops. Marathoners begin with a short section on Dogwood Trail before joining the main loop. The route includes a staffed aid station with snacks and Tailwind around mile 3, a water stop near mile 6.2, and a return via Eagle Valley Trail to finish back by the start. The course will be clearly marked with orange flags and directional signs, and a park trail map is available for reference. This is a cup-free event, so participants are encouraged to carry their own hydration. An area for drop bags will be set near the start and finish to access items between loops. Packet pick-up takes place at the trailhead and is staggered by race distance. Parking is available throughout the park, including near the Visitor’s Center, Muckerman Shelter, and the gravel lot by the road to Round House. Race registration and headquarters will be located at the yellow gate by the DeClue Trailhead, and care is requested when moving through the park and along the road near the start area. Awards will be presented to the top female and top male in each distance. Race swag is included for those who register by the stated deadline, and a limited number of extra items may be available for later registrants. St. Louis Track Club members receive a $10 discount when registering with the email tied to their membership, and early pricing applies before a listed increase date. Overall champions receive custom jackets. Awards are presented to first through third in every class, and a team competition offers individual awards to the top team.
