An open blues jam takes over The Mission, beginning with a set from the host band, The Missionaries. Musicians can add their names to the sign-up and step in after the opening set to keep the music going. There is no cover, and tips for the host band are appreciated. The Missionaries are a homegrown lineup featuring Kenny Hunt on guitar and vocals, Cody Pursifull on guitar and vocals, Robert Duckworth on bass, and Joe Odneal on drums.

Monday Aces is a free, single round flex event at Cole County Jaycee Park Lake. It welcomes both newcomers and experienced players for a relaxed round with friends or family. An optional $2 ace pot buy-in is available and not required to participate. Bring your own group with three or more players per card. If you do not have three players or cannot find a card, participants can be matched on site so everyone can play.
