Get to know Jefferson City by bicycle with Community Bike Rides, a free series open to riders of every experience level. Rides occur twice each month and are geared toward newer and non-competitive cyclists, while experienced riders can enjoy exploring local routes and connecting with the community. This edition follows the Ice Cream Leads to Prison route, starting and finishing at Daisy Delight before heading out along Algoa Road toward the prison. Expect low traffic and mostly flat terrain, with a single hill on the return. Because much of the course retraces the same path, participants may turn back at any point to shorten the distance. Enjoy a free, family friendly showcase of the machines that keep the community moving at Capital Mall. Explore real vehicles up close and get hands on with the equipment. Fire engines, street sweepers, police vehicles, forklifts, farm tractors, and tow trucks will be on site for all ages to discover. Guests can press the horn, talk with the people who operate the machinery, and take plenty of photos. This experience is presented in conjunction with Capital Mall’s Safety Backpack event, with activities outside in the Dillard’s parking area and inside the mall. A grounding sound bath unfolds in the FXR Studio Yoga Room, led by Bethany Noble of the Guided Key. Cool off with a refreshing swim alongside your dog. Admission is $5 per dog. All dogs must be on a leash, and the leash may be removed while in the water as long as owners stay close. A dive-focused competition at the Meg Ledge in North Carolina invites Advanced Diver and Nitrox certified participants to search for fossilized megalodon teeth, with the chance to take home what they discover. The schedule features two dives per day with up to four days of diving available, and capacity is limited to 18 divers each day. Entry includes the tournament and a boat ride, priced at $285 per diver per day for the boat ride only. Rental gear, tanks, and weights are additional, and divers bringing their own equipment pay only for air fills. After the loss of someone close, many people feel alone. This 13-week GriefShare recovery group offers a safe, caring setting to talk about grief, receive comfort, and gain direction. Each session features a video with grief recovery experts, conversation in small groups, prayer, and guided work in a workbook. Participants connect with others who understand, learn practical strategies for daily coping, and explore six signs that healing is underway.

An open mic at The Mission welcomes performers in music of any genre, along with poetry, comedy, spoken word, and dance. There is no cover, and tips are appreciated. At the Wardsville Lions Club, the Lewis & Clark Trail Chapter Big Game Banquet gathers elk country supporters for an evening of conservation, dinner, and community. Expect exclusive prizes and one-of-a-kind auctions, along with time to connect with fellow enthusiasts. Young performers take center stage at Youth Jam @ The Mission, an event dedicated to artists who have not yet turned 21. This main stage dinner production pairs the show with dinner options, including a Dinner Buffet in the CCP Banquet Room for Show and Dinner tickets, or a Show-Only option where you can bring your own food and snacks. Coffee and tea are served, and doors open before the first part of the evening schedule so you can get settled. Recording devices and flash photography are not allowed.
