This hands-on print and press class invites ages 8 to 16 to create a custom graphic in Canva, then transfer it onto a tote bag, pencil pouch, or T-shirt with a heat press. Each participant takes home a completed piece they made from concept to final press. Along the way, they practice Canva basics and approachable design principles like color choices, layout, and spacing, and learn the full workflow for preparing artwork and pressing it onto fabric. The experience is designed to build confidence as ideas become something useful or wearable, encouraging problem solving and creativity with technology. Beginners and experienced young designers are welcome, with step-by-step guidance provided. Missouri homeschool families can log hours under Fine Arts, Practical Arts, or as a project-based elective, and documentation is simple with class time records and photos of the finished work.
