Participation is donation based to keep costs low. Suggested contributions include $5 to $10 per meal, $15 to $20 per day for the facility, and optional general donations that help offset travel. Group housing is available at the Landing Hub hotels in Pacific, Missouri, which feature multiple kitchens, a pool, ping pong, a pool table, bonfires, and space for group dinners and other social activities. Options range from shared rooms with many beds to a captured room with a door and queen bed, and a private room with a queen bed and private bath. Reservations use an initial deposit, with any difference settled after the event because headcounts can change. Housing covers the core nights, with the option to add the night before or after if needed.

This centennial celebration honors a full century of Route 66 and its deep ties to Times Beach, where the road was later routed and, after a major environmental cleanup, part of the former town was transformed into Route 66 State Park. Throughout the event, the visitor center and museum will offer self-guided tours featuring a traveling exhibit that explores the road’s early years and rise as the Mother Road. The Forest Shelter parking lot will host selfie stations and a classic car show that wraps up with a cruise along Hawthorne Road, North Outer Road on the old alignment, and South Outer Road. Live music will take place near the playground. Attendees can stop by interpretive stations, help paint a community Route 66 mural, and browse vendors with themed merchandise. Food trucks are planned, with final details to be announced. A hayride will follow the Inner Loop Trail, and a guided hike will begin near the playground and use a portion of the Outer Loop Trail. Admission is free and all are welcome.
