This special fundraiser honors the voices of survivors and the impact of a community that cares. For 43 years, Citizens Against Spouse Abuse has helped people better understand survivors’ experiences and has turned compassion into action with lasting results. The organization empowers those affected by domestic and sexual violence to regain control through safety, advocacy, counseling, and consistent support. The evening takes place in the Varied Industry Building on the Missouri State Fair Grounds and features a buffet dinner with drinks, games and prizes, music and dancing, a silent and live auction, and the sixth annual Mr. In Her Shoes competition, along with additional surprises. Attendees must be 21 or older. Sponsorship opportunities are available, including options that may include a table for eight. Prize sponsorships start at $100, and cash donations of $100 or more are eligible for a 70 percent state tax credit. Reserved tables for eight are $400, and individual tickets are $60 each.
