631 Veterans Place Dr, Chesterfield · verified Aug 23
    See details

Chesterfield Amphitheater hosts a powerhouse tribute night featuring Dogs of Society, an Elton John rock tribute, with special guest Billy the Kid, a Billy Joel tribute. Expect a fully live rock show that puts the music front and center. Dogs of Society dives into Elton John’s 1970s era, moving from favorites like Bennie and the Jets, Tiny Dancer, and Crocodile Rock to deeper selections including Funeral for a Friend, Madman Across the Water, All the Girls Love Alice, and Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters. The performance is entirely live with no backing tracks, focusing on the songs rather than costumes. Billy the Kid celebrates early Billy Joel, mixing hits such as Piano Man, My Life, and You May Be Right with album cuts like Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, Vienna, and Summer Highland Falls. The group appears as a six piece rock band with a three piece horn section featuring members of Dogs of Society and Breakfast in America for a classic 1970s sound. General Admission provides access to the lawn and the standing room pit, while Reserved Seating offers stadium style fixed seats near the stage. The venue is primarily general admission, with the green stadium seating reserved for those holding Reserved Seating tickets. Pricing is $20 for General Admission in advance and $25 on the day of show, $25 for Reserved Seating in advance and $30 on the day of show, and a four pack General Admission option for $60.
