Newfoundland native Keith Murphy anchors the ensemble with propulsive guitar and refined traditional singing. Based in New England for many years, he has been a key figure in the regional folk scene through collaborations with respected bands, original tune writing, and direction of the Northern Roots Festival in Brattleboro, Vermont. His solo discography includes four albums, with Bright As Amber released in 2023. Together they shape a contemporary acoustic sound that stays true to the heart of Scottish tradition, full of rhythmic drive, melodic clarity, and playful spirit.
