Now in its 34th year, the Historic Shaw Art Fair brings a showcase of fine art to the tree-lined parkway along Flora Place at Tower Grove Avenue, across from the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis. Presented by the Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association, which has organized the fair every fall since 1993, it is recognized as one of the city’s premier fine art events and consistently earns high marks from artists and visitors. Participants gather at the KC Hall parking lot to assemble and visit, then take a short cruise out along kk to a curve where a Route 66 sign is mounted on a pole. Someone will be there to photograph cars as they pass the sign. After the drive, plans include eating at KC chicken and spending time by the cars to visit. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and snacks. If it rains, the event will be canceled and rescheduled for the same time and place.

Hosted at Purina Farms in collaboration with the American Bouvier des Flandres Club, the 2026 National Specialty honors the memory of longtime GSCA member Enid Lagree. The program features the National Specialty along with Midwestern and Western regional specialties, Puppy and Veteran Sweepstakes, Junior Showmanship, Obedience, Rally, Agility, FastCAT, Scent Work, Carting, and CGC evaluations.
