    The Two Tracks and more

The Filling Station, 2005 N Rouse Ave, Bozeman · verified Aug 2
    See details

The Two Tracks and Little Jane & the Pistol Whip’s team up for a night of harmony-rich Americana and country storytelling. The Two Tracks, a Wyoming quartet from the eastern side of the Bighorn Mountains, have spent years honing reflective, well-crafted songs powered by vivid narratives and resonant four-part harmonies. Led by husband-and-wife musicians Dave and Julie Huebner on guitars, with Dave also bringing his classical cello training into the mix, they are joined by bassist Taylor Phillips and drummer Fernando Serna. Their arrangements blend cello textures with bright bluegrass runs and melodic rock sensibilities. Their forthcoming album, Seasons Unknown, was recorded in Nashville with producer Will Kimbrough, engineer Sean Sullivan, and mixer Trina Shoemaker, and spans from the open-road spark of Mexico By Friday to a harmony-centered title track, a socially charged bluegrass tune in Building Walls, and a stripped-back duet, My Heart is Too Easy. Their touring has reached both the U.S. and abroad, including World Expo in Dubai and stages like Americanafest, with shared bills alongside artists such as Orville Peck and Eilen Jewell. Little Jane & the Pistol Whip’s began at the Owl Lounge in Livingston, crafting original songs by Ashly J Holland that balance heart and toe-tapping drive across three albums. Their third full-length, Long Road Ahead, was recorded in Bozeman with contributions from local musicians, adding an inviting community feel to their sound.
