CelloGayageum brings a vivid meeting of Eastern and Western traditions to Wachholz College Center, uniting the resonance of cello with the shimmering voice of the gayageum, a traditional Korean plucked zither with 12 strings. Their original compositions grow from Korean folk melodies and are shaped by a broad global sensibility, creating a sound that feels both time honored and new. Formed in 2016 by Austrian cellist and composer Sol Daniel Kim and Korean gayageum virtuoso and composer Dayoung Yoon, the duo grew from a connection made in Berlin and takes inspiration from the city's Pavilion of Unity, celebrating links between instruments, histories, and people. Yoon trained at the Korean National Traditional Arts High School and the Korea National University of Arts, later performing in France, Germany, Italy, and elsewhere, and teaching at the Berlin Korean Cultural Center. Her work with the ensemble has been honored with the Soorim Cultural Prize in 2018, Jeongdong Theater's Youthful Artist of the Year in 2020, leadership of the Young Gugak Orchestra at Seoul Namsan Gugakdang in 2021, and first prize in the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation's Youth Song in 2021. Kim, born in Vienna and a graduate of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, represented Austria at Eurovision Young Musicians and has performed with orchestras including the Bavarian Symphony Orchestra. Together they share music that traces journeys across continents, cultures, and centuries.

A no-cost, confidential support group for adults who have a loved one experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition. Parents, partners, siblings, and friends are welcome to participate and share. Attendees can learn from the challenges and successes of others in similar situations and exchange practical insights. The gathering takes place at Gateway Community Center, with entry at Entrance A next to the Flathead Food Bank. For safety, the doors remain locked, so please wait at the entrance and someone will let you in.

World Ballet Company presents Swan Lake at Wachholz College Center, a sweeping production with a cast of 50 international dancers, over 150 hand sewn costumes, and striking hand crafted sets. Tchaikovsky's score guides the story of love, magic, and the clash between good and evil, featuring beloved moments from the Dance of the Little Swans to the Black Swan's 32 fouettés. The performance runs approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including a 20 minute intermission, and is recommended for ages 5 and older. Based in Los Angeles and led by Sasha Gorskaya and Gulya Hartwick, the company tours cities nationwide, includes renowned professional dancers representing more than ten countries, and has appeared in more than 300 cities for audiences totaling over 500,000.

Gobo, Red, Mokey, Wembley, and Boober set out on a musical stage adventure to rediscover the fabled Celebration Stone, a long-lost Fraggle treasure said to unite everyone for an unforgettable party. Their journey winds through new caverns in Fraggle Rock and beyond as they uncover unexpected magic and learn to reassemble the artifact through teamwork. The story wonders whether the Celebration Stone can be restored and whether the friends might find something even more heartfelt along the way. Bringing Fraggle Rock to the stage for the first time, the show features all-new walk-around Fraggles, puppet-sized Doozers, an appearance by a giant Gorg, and additional fantastical creatures created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, along with fan-favorite songs, lively visual effects, immersive in-theater special effects, and audience interaction. Written and directed by John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, Shrek the Musical, Stephen Schwartz’s The Secret Silk), it blends music, humor, and imagination for families with young first-time theatergoers as well as longtime fans. Yonder Mountain String Band brings its long-running roots sound to Wachholz College Center, highlighting Good As True (2026), the group’s twelfth studio album and the latest chapter in a career that has spanned close to thirty years. The new material turns a clear eye toward relationships and the effort it takes to stay connected, shifting between propulsive energy, close harmonies, and moments of space. Across the record, the band ranges from quick-picking bluegrass to songs colored by folk and rock, with touches of country and indie. Brand New Heartache marries rock-leaning verses to a chorus with bluegrass lift as it follows the aftermath of a breakup and the cautious hope of starting over. Blind opens on a memorable riff and faces regret with a pull toward becoming better. Long Ride surveys life in a touring band, while Nothing New and The Lie consider rigidity, misinformation, and division. Quieter corners appear too, as One to One Another seeks emotional clarity and Always Almost sits with reflection. Barroom Feather stands apart as a sixteen-minute performance recorded live in the studio and presented in its raw form, its drum sample broadening the groove while staying true to the group’s acoustic core. Founding members Adam Aijala, Ben Kaufmann, and Dave Johnston, joined by Nick Piccininni and with Coleman Smith on fiddle, wrote the album together and deliver tightly knit performances shaped by years of playing side by side. With Good As True, the band leans into a voice it trusts and continues to carve its own path.

Photographer and National Geographic Explorer Kiliii Yüyan examines what enables the planet’s most remarkable ecosystems to thrive. Through work in coral reefs, rainforests, and the Arctic tundra, he shows how enduring Indigenous stewardship has sustained these places over generations. Accounts from time with Iñupiat hunters near polar bears, dives in mangrove shark nurseries, and conversations with elders demonstrate that this knowledge is living and adaptable. Drawing from Guardians of Life, he shares practical insights that point to solutions and a pathway for protecting the planet’s future. Kiliii Yüyan is an award-winning photographer of Chinese and Nanai or Hèzhé heritage who has spent years within communities at the front lines of ecological and cultural change across the Arctic and beyond. His photographs appear in National Geographic, TIME, and Vogue. His latest book is Guardians of Life.
