Presented by Alamance Arts, this exhibition spotlights the creative work of veterans, those currently serving, and their families. It brings together 23 artists working in disciplines like painting, silversmithing, woodworking, photography, and more. The focus is to recognize members of the military community as artists and individuals in their own right, not only for what they have done in uniform. While their service is often honored, this showcase turns the spotlight to their creativity.
Andrew Blanch
Andrew Blanch returns with Spanish Romance for an evening celebrating beautiful music and virtuosity. The program features a Spanish guitar recital that moves through works by composers like J.S. Bach, Fernando Sor, Francisco Tárrega, and Manuel de Falla, followed by Latin American selections and a finale with mezzo-soprano Maria Eugenia Nieva. Expect about 70 minutes of music with no interval, and all ages are welcome. Seating is general admission with assigned seating handled on a first-come, first-served basis, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
