This free, one hour Creative Quills Jr. workshop from Fred & June’s creative writing group focuses on breaking through writer’s block and exploring styles beyond the everyday. The setting is playful and flexible, with rules kept loose and grammar set aside so imagination can lead. Conversation centers on the craft of writing and creative thinking. There is space to discuss the publishing process and share works in progress, however it is not a manuscript critique session. The aim is to spark ideas, experiment on the page, and leave with fresh inspiration.

The class is offered in partnership with Give Yoga NC, a nonprofit that provides free yoga classes and resources to people who might not otherwise have access to yoga.
