Celebrate the City of Locust Summer Concert Series with a free outdoor show set in the backyard of Locust City Hall. The season brings live performances from The Tams with a firework finale in June, Gump Fiction in July, Party Parrot Band in August, and the Michael Christopher Band in September, also capped with fireworks. Enjoy a variety of food trucks, browse local craft and business vendors, and find activities for kids throughout the evening. This year includes two firework finales at the close of the June and September concerts. Queen City Siren delivers a full night of classic and modern rock, with favorites drawn from Heart, Zeppelin, Jane’s Addiction, GnR, Ghost, Rush, Living Color, Pat Benatar, Allman Brothers, Queen, Ozzy, and more. Expect big riffs, sing along choruses, and a high energy set built for dancing and rock fun.

Break up the week with Name That Tune trivia at Moochies Tavern. A short music warm up leads into four rounds featuring 100 songs in total. Two rounds cover hits from the 1960s through the 1980s, and two rounds focus on the 1990s to the present. For each era, one round accepts only the song title, and another allows credit for either the title or the artist. Team scores are added up at the end to determine the winners, with prizes that include a $25 restaurant gift card for first place, a $20 gift card for second, and a free appetizer for teams finishing third through sixth. Teams can test their music recall, meet new people, and enjoy food and drinks while playing.
