After the form is built, add fun textures, quirky details, and final touches to make it one of a kind. Choose vivid underglazes for painting or pick from the studio’s glazes for a polished finish. The clay needs to fully dry before it is fired, so completion takes several weeks. Pieces dry, then receive a bisque firing. Each work is then cleaned, the underside is waxed, glaze is applied, and it is fired again. Projects will be ready for pickup in about 4 to 6 weeks, and shipping is available for an additional fee. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes, tie back long hair, and leave rings, bracelets, and other loose jewelry at home. Arrive no more than five minutes before class starts, follow all studio rules and procedures, and note that registrations are non-refundable due to limited seating.
