Scotty's Drive-In hosts a weekly celebration of classic cars, welcoming enthusiasts for a midweek gathering. It takes place every Wednesday until snowfall. Arrive with a classic vehicle and, upon request, receive 10 percent off your order.

Hosted by the Mandan Parks and Recreation Foundation, this fundraising golf scramble supports discounted access to recreation programs for children in the Mandan area and contributes to the foundation’s capital efforts. Teams of four will play in a scramble with a shotgun start at Prairie West Golf Course, and lunch will be available. Entry includes green fees and a cart, plus a meal and a cap. Registration is open, and the field is limited to 36 teams. Sponsorships are offered at multiple levels, including $200 for a hole, $500 for a team, $500 for food, and $1,000 for a tournament package that includes a team along with hole and banner recognition. Prize donations are also invited. Proceeds benefit the foundation and its Scholarship for Kids program, which expands opportunities for local youth and supports quality of life. If you are new, you can watch a table, ask questions, and use library resources, including books and online recommendations, to get started. No registration or prior experience is required, and drop ins are welcome. When you are ready, take a seat and play. Sessions are held at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library in the Missouri River Room. This event is free and open to all ages, and media are invited to attend.

Hope Manor Foundation’s Annual Fundraiser Gala celebrates chocolate and community impact with an evening of decadent desserts, spirited auctions, and moving stories of recovery. Attendees will sample chocolate creations from local restaurants, bakeries, and eateries, then cast a vote for their favorite. A friendly faceoff between the Women’s and Men’s Houses returns, with guests deciding who earns bragging rights and a special award.
