Pride Day at Red River Market features live entertainment from TBD Trio. The Community Club spotlights the Downtown Neighborhood Association. FM Pride marks 25 years with a festive parade in Downtown Fargo. Expect a lively procession filled with vibrant colors, music, and community spirit as participants make their way through the streets. This joyful celebration offers a bright show of pride and support.

This free, virtual fishing tournament welcomes anglers of all ages to the Red River of the North, covering the stretch from the Cass 22 and Clay 26 area to the Cass 16 and Clay 8 area. Participants catch any species from the Red River within this section, take a photo that shows the angler, the fish, and the river in the background, then email the image with contact information to christine@riverkeepers.org. Up to five entries are allowed per person, provided each entry features a different species. Entry implies consent for submitted images to be used for promotional purposes without notice. The first ten individual entrants receive River Keepers’ Relaxed Anglers Guide to Catfishing on the Red River of the North. Every valid submission is placed in a drawing, with a limit of one prize per person, for a 7 ft MH casting catfishing rod by Olson Custom Rods, a half day trophy catfishing trip for three with Tally's Trophy Fishing Charter on the Red River in F-M valued at $350, or one of six packages that each include a $50 Scheels gift card plus a one year membership to River Keepers and F-M Walleyes. Settle in for a silent reading evening at Fargo Twenty Below. Bring a book and a friend, then enjoy a few hours of quiet focus with soft background music and a cozy, calm atmosphere made for readers. Everyone is welcome and admission is free. Drinks and snacks are available to purchase, including the usual pastries. This gathering takes place on the second and fourth Monday of each month, creating a simple, low-key space for book lovers to unwind together.

This annual on-the-water cleanup brings volunteers onto the Red River of the North in canoes to collect litter along the banks. Participants should be comfortable paddling and able to lean over the side of a canoe to retrieve debris. Space is limited, so advance registration is requested. Presented in partnership with River Keepers and Moorhead Parks and Recreation, with support from WM.

An outdoor farmers market at West Acres Mall brings together a broad selection of regionally grown produce and locally made goods. Created in partnership by the Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society and West Acres, the market supports area growers, gardeners, and producers, strengthens community well-being, and serves as a welcoming place to gather. Early in the season the selection can be lighter as harvests build, then more fruits, vegetables, and additional vendors arrive as the growing season progresses. ArtVentures is a free, kid-focused art in the park series. Each session takes place at a different park where the art staff leads hands-on projects children can bring home. It offers a relaxed way to spend time outdoors, connect with nature and friends, and explore creativity together. All supplies are included, and experienced instructors provide guidance throughout. A supervising adult is required.

The Moorhead Farmers Market brings together local growers and makers for a weekly summer gathering featuring fresh produce, handmade goods, and live music. The market now takes place in the Trinity Lutheran parking lot. SNAP benefits are accepted and tripled, so $10 in SNAP becomes $30 in tokens for fresh market foods, courtesy of Hunger Solutions of Minnesota. The market is also S/FMNP authorized to serve WIC participants and low income seniors. Power of Produce Clubs, supported by West Central Initiative, offer a $2 token each week for kids ages 4 to 12 and for adults 55 and over, and sign up is free. Updates throughout the season are shared on the market’s new Facebook page. This event takes place every Tuesday during the summer and is weather permitting.

Celebrate the first year of the new pool with a family-friendly event at the Municipal Pool. Look forward to complimentary open swim, prize drawings, and skateboarding lessons at the skate park, along with additional activities. Sponsored by Moorhead Public Service.

Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, or any craft in progress and relax with a welcoming group of makers. It is free to hang out, all experience levels are invited, and you can pick up a kit from Unglued if you want to start something new. Feel free to enjoy a drink from Brewhalla while you work. Look for the crew on the second floor mezzanine at Brewhalla, where a small sign helps you find the spot, and plan on friendly help if you need to troubleshoot a project. These gatherings also overlap with Happy Crafty Hours if you want to make it extra crafty.

Enjoy a complimentary lunch while browsing fresh fall fashions, spirit wear, school and fall sports gear, and apparel for the season ahead. Clothing vendors will be on site with corporate and team workwear. Back-to-school swag will be available while supplies last, along with door prizes and other giveaways. It is a convenient way to prepare for school, work, sports, and fall gatherings in one stop.

Backpacks and essential school supplies will be distributed through drive-thru pickup events at the FARGODOME for K–12 students who live in and attend school in Cass or Clay counties. This resource is limited to kindergarten through 12th grade and is not available for Head Start, preschool, or college students. Distribution takes place in the west parking lots on the back side of the venue. Families should remain in their vehicles, and partner police vehicles with lights will indicate where to enter. No preregistration is required. A registration form is needed for each family and can be completed on site or brought already printed.

Parks Pop-In brings free, family-friendly fun to Fargo neighborhoods with outdoor games, music, and a variety of activities. This stop in the traveling series takes place at Brunsdale Park, offering an easy way for families to enjoy summer fun close to home. The series visits a different park every other week, creating a lighthearted community gathering with no-cost entertainment.

Entry is free. Explore a variety of demo games, bring a board game or RPG to play, and watch what some current groups are playing as well.

Enjoy casual rounds of cornhole, also known as bean bag toss, on the St. John church lawn at this relaxed community gathering presented by the Congregation Life Committee. Friendly games set the tone, with corndogs and popcorn available. There is no charge to attend, and all are welcome.

This monthly food distribution serves anyone in need, and no identification is required. It takes place on the second Thursday of each month in partnership with Great Plains Food Bank. When you arrive, enter the parking lot on the north side of the building and proceed around to the back to reach the distribution area.

Hangar Happy Hour is an after-hours get-together at the Fargo Air Museum featuring a social hour in the hangar, surrounded by aircraft and aviation history. Enjoy drink deals on beer and seltzers from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, then jump into aviation and local aviation history themed trivia starting at 6:30 PM, with more trivia rounds and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere throughout the night. Social hour entry is free, and trivia participation requires tickets (early bird online pricing or ticket options at the door).
