Create botanical themed trays in a relaxed, walk-in studio activity. Choose a monstera leaf or a flower shape, then use stoneware clay to build your tray, carve textures, and form it to your liking. The studio will fire and dip glaze your piece, with pickup available in about two to three weeks. Space may be limited, and everyone in the studio should be participating in the project. The activity is simple and kid friendly.

This class weaves somatic movement, pranayama breathwork, and hip and heart opening to invite deep rest and relaxation. Most of the practice unfolds on the floor with props providing comfort and support. Four Star Ninja Academy presents a North Central Ninja Series Season 8 qualifier featuring a Ninja Warrior style competition. The series highlights athletes from IA, MN, WI, NE, SD, and ND, and participation is open to residents of any state. Divisions range from age 5 through the masters 40+ category, and all divisions will be offered. Competition will follow NCNS rules, with age groups determined by series guidelines. Athletes competing as pros ages 12 and up are encouraged to hold NCNS membership for Season 8 to support finals prize money, and membership must be renewed each season. This free, virtual fishing tournament welcomes anglers of all ages to the Red River of the North, covering the stretch from the Cass 22 and Clay 26 area to the Cass 16 and Clay 8 area. Participants catch any species from the Red River within this section, take a photo that shows the angler, the fish, and the river in the background, then email the image with contact information to christine@riverkeepers.org. This annual on-the-water cleanup brings volunteers onto the Red River of the North in canoes to collect litter along the banks. Participants should be comfortable paddling and able to lean over the side of a canoe to retrieve debris. Space is limited, so advance registration is requested. Horace Run Club partners with Flow & Form, a new yoga studio in Horace, for a family-friendly evening at Terra Gardens Park, a place many kids call the flower park. The plan includes an all-ages yoga session for children and adults, followed by a short neighborhood loop that can be done by bike, on foot with a run, walk, or jog, or by scooter, all at a comfortable pace. Backpacks and essential school supplies will be distributed through drive-thru pickup events at the FARGODOME for K–12 students who live in and attend school in Cass or Clay counties. This resource is limited to kindergarten through 12th grade and is not available for Head Start, preschool, or college students. Distribution takes place in the west parking lots on the back side of the venue. Families should remain in their vehicles, and partner police vehicles with lights will indicate where to enter. A community benefit at Brewhalla supports Team Purdy as they face significant medical challenges. For six years, Jared has confronted lymphoma with inpatient chemotherapy about every three to four weeks and frequent trips for treatment, all while continuing to coach, mentor, and give back. More recently, Sarah received a glioblastoma diagnosis and began care at Mayo. Their journey includes long days, uncertainty, and ongoing treatment both at Mayo and through Sanford in Fargo. Amid it all, they stay centered on family and community. Jada, 18, plans to attend UND to study physical therapy. Bo, 16, follows his interests in athletics and hunting. Jax, 12, brings enthusiasm to sports and daily life, and Ty, 5, is brimming with excitement and a love of the game. The Purdys remain active in athletics, school activities, and local involvement, drawing strength from the support around them. Donations from this benefit directly help the family during a difficult time.

A special community dinner features Guest Chef Claudia Mendoza, sharing dishes inspired by her Peruvian heritage. Participants will consider the Declaration’s guiding ideals, how those ideals shape everyday life, the values shared by Minnesotans and Americans, and hopes for what the country might look like 250 years from now. The conversation is facilitated and grounded in curiosity, mutual respect, honesty, and attentive listening to deepen understanding. This program is part of an ongoing conversation series on the Declaration and liberty, presented in partnership with Braver Angels of Minnesota, the Minnesota Historical Society, and the Minnesota Humanities Center.

This is a fundraising event for the FM Symphony and tickets are nonrefundable.
